Bundiyarra Aboriginal Community Aboriginal Corporation
Bundiyarra Aboriginal Community Aboriginal Corporation is a community-controlled organisation based in Geraldton, serving Aboriginal people across the Midwest, Murchison and Gascoyne regions. It delivers programs to improve social, cultural, economic and community engagement. Services include the Irra Wangga Language Centre and Wajarri language resources, early childhood and family programs (Connected Beginnings, an Aboriginal family playgroup and a child learning centre), youth connection to culture, an environmental health team, intensive family support, Aboriginal family-led decision making, cultural awareness training, and BRACKS short-term accommodation for Aboriginal people visiting the region.
Who we are
Bundiyarra is an Aboriginal community organisation grounded in the Midwest, Murchison and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia. Its purpose is to offer programs and resources that improve the social, cultural, economic and community engagement of Aboriginal people in the region. Bundiyarra places language, culture and family at the centre of its work, restoring and celebrating Wajarri and other regional languages, supporting children and families from their earliest years, and connecting young people to culture and country. The organisation combines cultural strength with practical services such as environmental health and family support, working alongside community to build wellbeing and self-determination across the region it serves.
