Kullarri Regional Communities Indigenous Corporation (KRCI) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation based in Broome, serving communities across the Kullarri region of the Kimberley. It aims to secure the best outcomes for job seekers and communities through a place-based model spanning all life stages. KRCI delivers employment and community services, including the Remote Australia Employment Service, Parent Pathways and Transition to Work, alongside remote community engagement and cultural programs. Its economic development arm, Kullarri Indigenous Business Solutions, offers business planning, bookkeeping and workforce development, complemented by Kullarri Enterprises. KRCI works closely with government agencies and local community organisations.
Who we are
Kullarri Regional Communities Indigenous Corporation (KRCI) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation operating across the Kullarri region of the Kimberley, based in Broome. It aims to ensure the best outcomes for job seekers and communities in the region, supporting individuals and communities through an integrated, place-based model that addresses personal and career development across all life stages. KRCI works in three main areas: remote community engagement, delivering cultural programs and activities for all ages; employment services, providing structured community work programs, training and case management; and business development, offering business planning support, bookkeeping and workforce development. Programs include the Remote Australia Employment Service, Parent Pathways, the Indigenous Advancement Strategy, Transition to Work, Kullarri Indigenous Business Solutions, Kullarri Enterprises and social enterprise initiatives. KRCI collaborates with government agencies including DPIRD, Services Australia, the Department of Communities and the NIAA, and with local community organisations.
