Mens Outreach Service Aboriginal Corporation
Mens Outreach Service Aboriginal Corporation (MOSAC), together with its Family Outreach Service, provides culturally strong, holistic support services across the Kimberley region from Broome. With more than twenty years of experience, it delivers trauma-informed programs that promote healing, safety and wellbeing under the motto 'Strong Men, Strong Families, Strong Communities.' Its work spans three main areas: family and domestic violence services (including men's behaviour change, partner support and youth prevention), youth services (including suicide prevention, early intervention and on-country camps), and men's health and wellbeing (drop-in support, counselling, case management and prisoner reintegration). The organisation employs around forty staff.
Who we are
Mens Outreach Service Aboriginal Corporation (MOSAC), together with its Family Outreach Service, delivers culturally strong, holistic support services across the Kimberley region of Western Australia from its base in Broome. With more than twenty years of experience and around forty staff, the organisation provides trauma-informed programs that promote healing, safety and wellbeing, guided by the motto 'Strong Men, Strong Families, Strong Communities.' Its work covers three main areas. Family and domestic violence services include the Change Em Ways men's behaviour change program, Strong Women Strong Families partner support, and the Dijun Way YoungN Deadly youth prevention program. Youth services include the ALIVE & Kicking Goals suicide prevention program, Together We Ride early intervention, LifeCycle Youth Connect, mentoring and on-country camps. Men's health and wellbeing services offer drop-in support, counselling, case management and prisoner reintegration assistance, helping improve outcomes for vulnerable people and strengthen relationships across the community.
