Ngala Koolangka Education Foundation Aboriginal Corporation

Ngala Koolangka Education Foundation Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation working in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. Its mission is to improve outcomes for Aboriginal students by grounding education in culture, identity and strength, and by strengthening cultural identity and community connection alongside academic support. The corporation uses a cluster model that follows Aboriginal students from primary school through high school, offering strategic education interventions matched to each stage. These include phonics support in the early primary years, in-school tutoring for middle-secondary students, mentoring toward traineeships and certificates in the senior years, and Aboriginal language and culture learning from Kindergarten to Year 12. It also supports school staff to teach Aboriginal students well. Established in 2024, Ngala Koolangka partners with government representatives, investors, philanthropists and community allies, acknowledging Traditional Custodians and working to create pathways that uplift Aboriginal voices and futures through culturally grounded education.
