As members of an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation, we appreciate that for the healing to take place, connection to moort/family is key. Moort is central to everything in Aboriginal life – and our koolangka/children are the core. As our future, our koolangka must be kept safe, while staying connected to moort, country and community. Our purpose has always been to strengthen and heal, mind, body and spirit through our community led programs. That’s the moorditj Wungening way!
Who we are

We often talk about doing things the Wungening Way. It’s our Aboriginal-led method of delivering services that reflect our understanding of the historical factors impacting on community health and wellbeing today.
Our vision has always been for a healthy communities our way. One that is allowed to flourish under self-determination.
But first, we must help mob attempt to heal from the generations of trauma that have compounded on community wellbeing since the time of Colonisation.
