Two New Directors Elected to the CASWA Board
CASWA welcomes Barbara Henry and Wayne McDonald to the Board, bringing seven decades of combined experience across child protection, family safety, community development and Aboriginal organisations.

CASWA is pleased to welcome two new Directors to our Board.
Barbara Henry is a Noongar woman who has dedicated over 40 years to advocating for the rights, safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal children, families and communities. She is Executive Director of the Noongar Family Safety and Wellbeing Council and Chair of the Yorganop Board, working across child protection, family safety and the broader social services sector to drive reform that is culturally grounded and community-led.
Wayne McDonald brings more than 30 years across Aboriginal affairs, government and Aboriginal organisations. He is Chief Executive Officer of Bundiyarra Aboriginal Community Aboriginal Corporation in Geraldton, overseeing a Community Resource Centre, Aboriginal language centre, Aboriginal environmental health service, Connected Beginnings, Aboriginal playgroup and youth services.
Both Directors bring exactly the kind of operational depth the Board needs as CASWA's membership and responsibilities continue to grow. We look forward to working with them.
