Moorditjabiny Housing Aboriginal Corporation

Moorditjabiny Housing Aboriginal Corporation is a newly established Aboriginal community-controlled organisation focused on community housing and holistic support for Aboriginal people in Western Australia. It was founded by a team of directors with experience across housing, healthcare, education, law, accounting, disability services and business, united by a commitment to Aboriginal self-determination. MHAC centres Aboriginal culture and lore in all of its design, support and service delivery, aiming to be culturally effective and to strengthen the emotional wellbeing of the people it serves. As its board expresses, community must come together and support each other to heal and grow, and to have genuine choice. The organisation's boomerang logo reflects its purpose, helping people return to a place of safety through housing assistance, support and education, as it works to address homelessness and housing need.
