Ngaanyatjarra Health Service
Ngaanyatjarra Health Service (NHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation serving the Ngaanyatjarra region of Western Australia's Central Desert. Formed in July 1985 following separation from the Pitjantjatjara Ngaanyatjarra Homelands Health Service, it incorporated in June 1987. NHS provides population-health-focused care across 11 primary health care centres, staffed by Remote Area Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and allied health staff, with visiting specialists. Services span clinical care, public and environmental health, wellness promotion, mental health, and aged care and disability support, including an 18-bed aged care facility at Wanarn. It also supports training and education. Administration is based in Alice Springs.

Ngaanyatjarra Health Service (NHS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation operating across the Ngaanyatjarra region of Western Australia's Central Desert, with administrative support based in Alice Springs. It was formed in July 1985 following separation from the Pitjantjatjara Ngaanyatjarra Homelands Health Service and incorporated as an Aboriginal Corporation in June 1987, gaining eligibility for direct Commonwealth and State health funding. NHS provides a range of services with a population health focus, organised into Clinical Services, Public Health, and Aged and Disability support. It operates 11 primary health care centres, eight permanently staffed and three as outreach clinics, using experienced Remote Area Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and allied health staff, alongside visiting specialists. Services include environmental health, wellness promotion, mental health and an 18-bed aged care facility at Wanarn. Service priorities are informed by the Board, and NHS holds AGPAL accreditation.
