Nirrumbuk

Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation is a community-led, Aboriginal-owned organisation that has served the Kimberley for more than three decades. Governed by Aboriginal directors representing Broome and the Dampier Peninsula, it is dedicated to supporting Aboriginal people across the region to achieve an improved quality of life, with self-sufficiency at the centre of its purpose. Nirrumbuk recognises that each person's journey toward independence is unique, and offers tailored, long-term support rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. Through training, employment, youth programs, driver education, housing and community services, alongside associated commercial ventures, the corporation builds pathways to work, skills and stability. Its approach combines cultural grounding with practical outcomes, strengthening families and communities and creating opportunities that keep benefits within Aboriginal hands across the Kimberley.
